GAINEY FAMILY & FRIENDS CONCERT III

The concert raises funds for the Gainey Foundation in support of arts and environmental education for youth.
Hockey legend Bob Gainey, a Peterborough native and Montreal Canadiens General Manager, created the foundation with his family in memory of his daughter, Laura, and wife Cathy.
George Stroumboulopoulos will be here, Jackson Delta and James McKenty and the Spades will be here to belt out some songs, and 4th Line Theatre artistic director Robert Winslow will perform skits focusing on the connection between entertainment and hockey.
And there's sure to be lots of laughter from the evening's emcee, comedian Steve Patterson!

LISA BROKOP & PAUL JEFFERSON: CCMA Award-winning Lisa Brokop has decided to make her music a family affair & is collaborating with her husband, Paul Jefferson. Their first official gig as a duo will be at the Gainey Concert in Peterborough!
THE ABRAMS BROTHERS – John, 18, James, 15, and cousin Elijah, 18 are fourth-generation musicians and have musical roots reaching back to their great-grandparents. Arlo Guthrie recognized the talent of these youngsters after he first heard them playing his own songs at one of his shows and thought they were “way too young to be playing that good.”
RUSSELL DeCARLE - is known as the front man for the famous band Prairie Oyster where his smooth vocals and bass guitar work has helped make the band a Canadian all-time great. Russell is also an accomplished solo performer!
